Corn-on-the-Cob 101

Items Needed

  • Aluminum foil
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cook Time: 45 minutes

Wrapped Corn

Wrapping the corn in aluminum foil.

Corn Hanging

Foil 'hooks' secure the corn to the H-Frame.

  1. Shuck corn and rinse off with cold water.
  2. Spread corn with butter, then salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Wrap corn in foil. If hanging, leave a good amount of excess foil at the end to twist into a foil "hook", making sure the end hanging towards the charcoal has enough foil coverage to not leak butter.
  4. If grating, place the corn on a grate on the middle level; otherwise, hang on the H-Frame with the foil "hook." Close the lid.
  5. Let cook for about 45 minutes before removing from the cooker.
  6. Unwrap the foil, serve and enjoy!
